Tommy A

Tommy A's love for music started at a tender age, trying to DJ on two separate cassette players for his family! "I remember being about 7 or 8 and wanting to always be the DJ at every family party". As his collection grew so did Tommy's love of music with Michael Jackson's BAD album being a firm childhood favourite. Tommy took up DJing at the age of 17 and quickly progressed into the London music scene where he has played at some of the capitals top venues including Ministry of Sound, Fabric and SEOne to name but a few.

Tommy A is not a DJ stuck within the boundaries of one genre of music.  He has the ability and the sheer weight of music to carry a night whether the music is Commercial, RnB, Indie, Dance, Funk...anything goes.  In fact, you will often find influences from many different genres within his sets.  He is clearly a DJ who likes to stand out and be different, often dropping a track that seems to have come from nowhere, the sort of track you never expected to be coming your way.

To date Tommy has played at many large venues and is known as an energetic, fast paced DJ who has a fantastic ability to read any crowd. The number of tracks he gets through in a night puts most other DJ's to shame.  On hearing one of his sets it's obvious that he has a natural ability to entertain and loves what he is doing.   "I'm a DJ who likes to interact with the crowd and feed off of them. It's impossible to be a good DJ without reading a crowd well and I want them to know that they are important to making my set a success".
